MANILA, Philippines — The northeastern portion of Camarines Sur was placed on Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 5 on Saturday afternoon as Super Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-yi) continued to possibly bring “life-threatening” situation over the northeastern Bicol Region, the state weather bureau said.

Article continues after this advertisementIn its 5 p.m. weather bulletin, Pagasa said that Pepito was last located some 120 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes, moving west-northwestward at 20 kilometers per hour (kph). It was still carrying maximum wind speed of 195 kph and gustiness of up to 240 kph.
